I came to a moral crossroads in my life at college during a Zoology class.  My professor was a great, fun guy.  We played handball together.  I really respected his knowledge of science, but he was an avowed evolutionist and I quickly realized I had to make a decision as to what I believed.  I was raised somewhat Christian but I was "religious" at best and never had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Ironically, this same professor convinced me of the existence of God during one of his lectures.  While explaining the mind boggling complexity of the "simple" cell, I was so blown away, I said to myself, "There has to be a God".  I didn't know who He was or where but from that day on I was on a search to find Him.  My search lead me into the Marine Corps, Desert Storm, 29 Palms, CA and finally into contact with Christian soldiers who explained to me that salvation was a gift, not something to be earned.  That faith was not to be placed in myself but in Christ.  I've been walking with the Lord now for 17 years and am still learning.   I have a beautiful wife, Yolanda, and 4 great kids.  God is good!  I'm currently living in Palm Desert and working as a teacher for the Coachella Valley Water District.

Retired military, former pastor, now serving as a volunteer.  There are many people who have a story of God in their lives who are looking for a safe place to share their story.  This ministry is designed to give people that opportunity.
