Proverbs 10:12
Oh, to help release their anguish
As I pen their stories,
And possibly save another
From a similar fate,
May all the glory be to God.
Lord, I pray for the release that Satan has
Over those whose lives I write about,
And also for the others whom I have not met.
In the telling and the scripting,
Bring sweet peace to these who, however timidly,
Cry out to You.
Teach them Your love,
Heal their wounds without a scar,
Bring about their forgetfulness
Of the cause of their grief,
Through the power of Christ Your Son in their lives,
May they grow in Your love.
