Renewal of mind,
Piece in my heart,
Fears subside and doubts depart,
Trust becomes nature, no longer just chance
Awash in the splendor; salvation circumstance
Amazing grace, these words are so true.
Emancipating me; liberating you.
We come to ourselves in joy indescribable
Fountains of life, neither aqua nor blue,
But shimmering, sparkling, a glimmer nonetheless
Trumpets will sound, blessing will rest
Upon all of those who are deemed justified
Glow upon me, shine in my life
The sun is no more, shadows fall away
The LORD is our light, dawning the day
We turn to our God, in wonder of all
His redemptive work after the fall.
No longer our failures recalling the time
Before we experienced the regenerative mind.
